The Lake Placid Municipal Airport is about one mile south of the village on Route 73. Hours of operation: 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily. 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. in July & August. Runway: 4,200 feet. Services: Air Charter flights from most airports, scenic flights, tie down, and repairs.

ADIRONDACK REGIONAL AIRPORT (SLK) (16.6 MILES)
The Adirondack Regional Airport provides the only commercial air service to the Adirondack Park. Located in Lake Clear, 16 miles from Lake Placid, it offers easy access to the entire region.
